Memories Made

Wow what a year 2017 has been, especially these last 5 months! People have always said that your Junior year of college is the hardest and man were they right. Not only was the work load a ton, but I was always so busy. I felt like sometimes I had to make it a priority to even fit meals into my day or plan out when I could make time to do laundry! Even though I was stressed for the majority of the semester, I did make so many good memories!

As always, the Grove did not disappoint!

Helen, GA

This Christmas break Clark and I decided we wanted to go on a fun trip, just the two of us! We thought of a lot of different places, but then I came across Helen, GA. This is a place like no other. It's a small Bavarian town in the mountains of Georgia. It's very unique and a fun place to go to getaway.

Little did we know January isn't a very popular time to visit, so a lot of places were closed and almost no one was there. But this actually made it more fun and an incredible trip! We found a ton of things to do and enjoyed spending so much time together!!

Four Seasons is the cabin we stayed in. It was the perfect size and very cozy for the two of us! Downstairs was a game room where we played lots of pool! I beat him every time, although I probably got lucky ;)

This was the view from our room! It looked so beautiful at different times each day!

These are the different things we saw on our hike to Anna Ruby Falls!

Not pictured is the sign that warns to stay on the trail and not walk on the rocks in the river...

These are the waterfalls! They were so loud and very pretty!

One of the few things that was open in Helen was this mini golf course. It was so cute and still decorated for Christmas! Clark beat me this time...

We tried to go fishing at Lake Patton, but it was so cold it had iced over. We still had fun exploring and taking pictures!

One of my favorite pictures :)

Date night! We went to this awesome German place to eat called Old Heidelberg, it was delicious!!

We were sad to leave our little cabin, but we were so happy we got to make more memories together!
