Fall Favorites with Warby Parker

All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It's starting to look a lot like fall y'all! Here in Oxford, it's getting a lot cooler and that means I can finally break out some of my favorite fall styles! I am collaborating with Warby Parker as they release their new fall collection today! That's right TODAY!! I'm so excited to share this new collection with y'all!

First off, for those of you who don't know, Warby Parker sells affordable yet stylish eyeglasses and sunglasses! They are high-quality frames that don't break the bank, it can't get much better than that!! AND for every pair of glasses they sell, they donate a pair to someone in need. What an impact this company makes! To browse their site, you can find the glasses here and the sunglasses here.

Now that you know a little bit about this awesome brand, I want to share with y'all some of my go to fall styles and how you can pair them with the new Warby Parker fall collection!
Twist And Shout Rose Cold Shoulder Top

The Hadley sunglasses and eyeglasses are probably my favorite frames from the new collection. Tortoise is my absolute favorite so these definitely caught my eye. The tortoise and rose gold contrast each other so well! I personally have never seen rose gold featured in any glasses and it's my new obsession. It goes with just about anything! Not to mention pink is my favorite color! I also love love love the round lens shape. I have recently been trying to get my hands on a good pair of round sunnies and I have just found the ones! YAY!! I would pair these frames with this rose shirt from Tobi. The color matches the frames perfectly and it's nice and flowy for the cool air this fall. Whether you're wearing the sunglasses outside or the glasses inside, they can be worn dressed up or dressed down.

Some more of my favorites from the collection are the Mona glasses! I love how thin these frames are and the color options they come in. The tortoise and gold are a classic look that I love and are very feminine. I would definitely wear these as an everyday glasses. The black and rose gold really spice things up! I would never think of these two colors contrasting so nicely together in a frame but it works perfectly. I would pair these with one of my favorite fall styles...the fur vest!! One of my essential fall styles that I adore! The Luis Vest from Show Me Your MuMu would look absolutely fabulous. I need this frame and fur vest combo and I need it fast!!!

The first thing I thought of when I saw the Tansley frame was sophistication. There's something about these sunglasses and glasses that would make me feel so empowered while wearing. The nude tones make for a cute yet classy style and you can never go wrong with a pop of classic gold. I would most certainly pair these with something a little more dressy. This sweater dress from Revolve looks great! It's super comfy but can easily be dressed up. I think the blush color would complement the nude frames, keeping the outfit dressy and sophisticated!

There is so much more in the new Warby Parker fall collection, these are just my absolute favorites that I needed to share! There are frames of all shapes to fit anyones preference. Not to mention a ton of more colors and options for males as well as females! I don't know about ya'll, but I'm going to snag a pair of these while I can! Happy shopping!!

Thanks to Warby Parker for the images of their 2017 fall collection.

Makeup Favorites

Makeup is one of my obsessions. I've always loved playing around with different products to accentuate my features! I've never been one to cake on makeup, but I love finding the best brands to help me look my best. I've shared with ya'll some of my go-to favorites in What's In My Makeup Bag, but lately I have found some products I can't live without and some of what I use almost everyday.

LANCÔME FOUNDATION

What I love most about this foundation is that is works great with my dry skin, but also doesn't make it look oily. I also like how I can add as much or as little as I want, depending on how much coverage I want. This foundation looks really natural (not caky) and it gives my skin a nice glow.

TOO FACED SWEET PEACH EYESHADOW PALETTE

This Sweet Peach Palette has been perfect for the spring and summer! It looks great with my blonde hair and really accentuates my green eyes. AND it smells like peaches!! Too Faced has a whole Peach collection which I'm dying to try as well.

ANASTASIA BROW DEFINER PENCIL

There's no doubt I love a good brow, but of course a natural looking one. I'm not a fan of the "painted" on look, so this Anastatia Brow Definer looks great a gives my brows a good outline and darker look.

NYX OMBRÉ BLUSH

NYX ombre BLUSH FARD ombre OB05 Sweet Spring

Rosey cheeks are a must for me no matter what I'm doing. It gives my face some color and just makes me feel happy. NYX Ombre Blush is great because it's a mix of light and darker colors depending on what I'm feeling that day. My favorite shade is Sweet Spring!

XOXO

What's In My Makeup Bag

Whew! Feels like forever since my last blog post! With the end of my Freshman year getting busier and busier it was hard for me to find the time. But finally, I am back home for the summer, with more than enough time on my hands! YAYAY! So I thought I'd share will ya'll some of my favorite makeup products I use pretty much everyday! And what's even better, most of them are cheap and can be bought at a local drugstore! Here's what's in my makeup bag:

{ Maybelline BB Cream Light/Medium Sheer Tint | Maybelline Master Conceal 10 Fair }

I've never really liked using foundation, to me it looks caked on and I just don't like that look at all. That is why I use BB cream! It's basically tinted lotion so it gives my skin moisture while also giving it some color. I blend in the master concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes I may have at the time.

{ Milani Bronzer XL }

I use this Milani bronzer during the summer time when I'm tanner to help give my face a natural looking glow! I never use this in the winter time well because, I'm just not tan during the winter ya'll and it would be way too obvious!

{ NYX Finishing Powder }

This powder is AMAZING!! Seriously ya'll, I put this powder on all over my face once I'm completely done with my makeup and it makes my face look perfect!!! Definitely one of my favorite makeup products!

{ Maybelline Fit Me Blush 306 Deep Coral | Maybelline Dream Bouncy Cream Blush 70 Hot Tamale }

I've always been a blush person, it gives a nice pop of color to my face and I never leave the house without putting any one! Fit Me by Maybelline does the trick, but when I am going to be out some where for a long period of time, I'll use Maybelline's cream blush because it tends to last a lot longer then just powder blush! WARNING: put on a little of the cream blush at a time, it's a lot easier to add more than to take off a big glob of bright pink off your cheek!

{ Urban Decay NAKED 2 and NAKED 3 }

Naked Palettes unfortunately can't be bought at a drugstore, however it is definitely worth the purchase! These are the only types of eyeshadow I use! It lasts all day and comes with about 12 different shades to choose from! If you're looking for a cheaper option, I know Maybelline sells a nude palette similar to these.

{ Elf Cream Eyeliner }

I recently switched from using liquid eyeliner to cream eyeliner, and I couldn't be happier! It's a lot easier to get the right amount of thickness or thinness that I want or even create wings! Plus, Elf products are very cheap so this cost me about $4!

{ Younquie 3D Fiber Lashes }

This is a must have and another one of my absolute favorite makeup products! 3D Fiber Lashes increase your lash length by 400%! NOT JOKING! This stuff really works! All you do is apply a coat of your normal everyday mascara, let that dry and apply a coat of the transplanting gel, next swipe on the natural fibers and then add another coat of the transplanting gel to hold in the fibers! Sounds complicated I know, but it's not and it barely takes up any extra time. Hop on over to Younquie's website to see photos of real customers and their results or to buy! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

{ Maybelline 705 Blushing Bud | Lipstick Queen Wine Metal | Milani 14 Rose Hip }

These are my go-to lipsticks; at least one of them is on my lips at all times. Blushing Bud is a pinkish nude (it's hard to tell from the picture, I know) and is my everyday lipstick. It's almost the exact same color of my lips but a little brighter to give my lips an extra pop of color! Wine Metal was a gift from Clark which I love because it's a dark red. I've always been a fan of dark red rather than bright red when it comes to lips. And lastly, Rose Hip is just as fun as it's name! It's a fabulous bright pink which I wear during the spring or summer time and goes with almost everything I wear!

Summer Beach Day Essentials

Summer is by far the best time of year. My hair gets lighter, my skin gets darker and I get to spend most of my time at my favorite place in the world, the beach. Mexico Beach to be exact. It's a small, quiet place that I like to call paradise. Being a summer local, there's no doubt I experience the hot sun in full force and have had my fair share of bubbling sunburns. So I thought I'd share the items that are a must in my beach bag for the time spent in the sun and for the hours after a long beach day.

While in the sun:

1. Yeti Cup: Water is a definite when out in the sun for hours. I'm always drinking water to keep my self hydrated and happy at the beach. My go to cup is my Yeti I received as a gift from one of my best friends. This cup is literally the best cup you can own. It's stainless steel so it keeps my water ice cold all day (yes the ice cubes barely melt). I can't stand guzzling down warm water so this cup is my life saver when it comes to a refreshing beverage.

2. B & B Surf Spray: I'm a big fan of messy hair dos at the beach and this spray gives me volume and texture before I even reach the sand. I get a wind-blown feel which creates my effortless beach waves. All I do is spray B & B throughout my hair before heading to the beach and the wind does the rest!
3. Sunnies: You can never go wrong with your favorite pair of sunnies! I have a little obsession with sunglasses and may have a small drawer full but my favorite pair of the moment is shown above. These are Crap Eyewear sunnies, and though I'm not a fan of the name I'm a fan of the look and feel. I'm going through a little retro phase and these definitely have that style. But really, any brand will do as long as you're protecting your eyes (they can get sun burned too)!
4. Nivea/Banana Boat: Chapstick is the second best thing to coffee. I put it on every morning and every night. I love to mix these two particular brands when out in the sun. I'll put on Banana Boat SPF 30 first and then top it with Nivea Shimmer SPF 10 for a simple colored lip. I do this because I want to make sure my lips are protected with a higher SPF but I also love a lip shimmer! DO NOT forget to apply SPF to your lips, they will burn, they will peel, they will bleed TRUST ME!

5. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream: Dream Fresh BB is one of my favorite beauty products I have ever used and I love how I can use it every day, not just at the beach, knowing my face will be protected with SPF 30. I have dry skin but my face almost always breaks out when I use normal face sunscreen due to all the oils and other heavy ingredients. With BB, my face never breaks out because there are 0% oils and it gives me a sun protected, even skin-tone face for a day in the sun.

6. Bose Speaker: Both of my parents are musicians so it's a given I love music (even if I don't play an instrument). I received my Bose Speaker as a present and use it almost everyday, you could say I'm obsessed. I bring it along every beach trip and it's music to my ears (literally). There's just something about the beach, good music and good people, now that's a good day at the beach.

8. Banana Boat Deep Tanning Oil: This stuff will turn you into a bronze goddess, no question. But be careful, you're basically an oiled up chicken in an oven. Do not use this with out sunscreen even if it says sunscreen is in it. There's only a tiny amount and You. Will. Burn. It's a blessing and a curse but mostly a blessing.

After a beach day:

1. Victoria Secret Beach Sexy Tinted Body Lotion: Exactly what the name says. I use it after I hop out of the shower to moisturize my skin from the sun exposure and it also enhances my tan!

2. John Frieda Sheer Blonde Lightening Spray: This one's only for the blondes, sorry brunettes... I spray this product all over my damp hair after a shower and blow dry until it's completely dry. The secret is the more heat you use the lighter your hair will get. So keep your blowdryer on the hottest setting possible. I take it to the next step and straighten my hair afterwards to get my hair even lighter. Now I'm not saying this extreme heat is the best thing for your hair, in fact too much will damage it, but hey you'll have bright blonde hair...beauty is pain and if that means actually cutting your long blonde hair to get it healthy again then so be it.

3. Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean: This cleanser is Out Of This Swirled!!! It's a mixture of moisture-rich swirls and exfoliating microbeads to give your pores a deep clean. I like to use this in the shower after a beach day (or any day really) to clean out all the sweat and sunscreen that gets trapped in my pores.

4. Softlips Chapstick: I like chapstick, I like soft lips. What can I say!?

5. Olay Fresh Effect Gel Moisturizer: I've fallen in love with this moisturizer. It's super lightweight and oil free and it doesn't clog my pores and cause me to breakout...YAY!!!

Always always always take a break from the sun. Even though us girls love to be tan we should take breaks now in then. Don't forget a hat and an umbrella and of course the tanning oil!!!
